摘要
This paper presents a bibliometric study of scientific publications on cognitive interventions of older adults with Alzheimer's dementia and mild cognitive impairment in the period 2006-2017 on de database of the Red de Revistas Cientificas de America Latina y el Caribe, Espana y Portugal (Redalyc) and American Psychological Association (APA), including theoretical and empirical articles in Spanish and English. The frecuency was analyzed according to year of publications, journals where they were published, place of work and more productive authors. The study allowed to visualize the quantity and diversity of cognitive interventions implemented in different countries and by different work-groups, with significant benefits; however, this heterogeneity prevents the standardization of an intervention program for a group of subjects diagnosed with Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. It was also observed that on Redayc database the topic is growing due to the greater number of theoretical research and the presence of peaks of publications in some years, unlike the APA database where a greater percentage of empirical publications was found, and the temporal evolution of the number of publications presented certain uniformity.
