摘要
Aluminum tetraphenylporphyrin was anchored onto polystyrene cross-linked with divinylbenzene ((P)-R-OTPPAl-X). (P)-R-OTPPAl-X behaves as an initiator for the polymerization of propylene oxide (PO) to give poly(propylene oxide) (polyPO) with narrow molecular weight distribution in the presence of alcohols. (P)-R-OTPPAl-X can be easily separated from the polymerization mixture by filtration, and then used again without any further treatment. The effects of the spacer length (carbon number of R) and the degree of cross-linking of the supports were also studied in relation to the catalytic activity.
