摘要
The heated products from chemical manganese dioxide(CMD) and LiOH were investigated as the cathode active materials of lithium secondary batteries. The decreasing trend of discharge capacity along with the decrease of specific surface area of the heated product was larger at high discharge current than at low one. It was supposed that CMD with larger surface area and higher packing density was suitable for this type cell. The optimal cathode active material was the heated product from international common MnO2 sample No.22(CMD) densified by the chlorate reaction and LiOH. It was found that this apparent density was the same as that of EMD and thisratio of LiOH/MnO2 was 0.3.
