摘要
An increasing number of researchers are using sequential extractions to determine the speciation of trace elements in sediments. Unfortunately, sequential extraction methods have not been successfully validated. The results are simply taken as providing "operational definitions" of the phases one is trying to measure. A more rigorous approach is required to gain insight into the geochemistry of trace elements or their bioavailability. © 1990.
