摘要：

The article examines the Greek historiography on salaries and discusses the evolution of salaries in the textile industry of Greece during the period 1912-1936. Based on the sources of the archives of a big textile company in Piraeus, the article wants to study not only the evolution of salaries on the labour market, but also the gender division of labour and the social formation of hierarchies in the workplace.
