摘要：
An approximate analytical solution is obtained for calculating the thermal stresses in continuous casting machine rollers under steady state conditions. The influence of individual parameters on the level of these stresses is determined. The level of thermal stresses in the rollers is significantly higher than stresses from mechanical loads. This must be taken into account when designing continuous casting machines.
