DYNAMIC MAGNETIC PHASE-DIAGRAMS IN A STRONG ANISOTROPIC MAGNET

摘要
In a wide range of frequencies (40-96 GHz) and magnetic fields (to 250 kOe) the absorption of mw-radiation in Ho0.4Y2.6Fe5O12 single crystal for H\[111] in the 4.2-150 K temperature range is studied. The dynamic magnetic phase diagrams in the H(res-T plane are found, H(res) being the resonance field. In addition to the phase diagram branches known from the static magnetic measurements there is observed a number of new branches. The model based on the assumption about the existence of the dynamic magnetic Jahn - Teller effect in the compound concerned is proposed for the qualitative description of the discrepancies between the results of the static and dynamic measurements.
