摘要
An investigation of solidification behavior was carried out on the single crystal superalloy SRR 99. By seeding technique the crystal growth was adjustable in any orientation. The relationship between structure morphology and process parameters has been experimentally determined and illustrated in a solidification diagram. The increase of solidification velocity resulted in a continuous decrease of dendrite arm spacing, whereas dendrite stem spacing was observed as a complex function of solidification velocity.
