A brief profile of the MPIF/APMI 1991 Powder Metallurgy Conference & Exhibition is given. The technical program covered all aspects of powder metallurgy with sessions highlighting advances in scientific understanding, development and pilots scale studies, and commercial practice. Dedicated technical seminars focused on P/M design, and on P/M aerospace and specialty materials. Other features of the program were a P/M global review from a technical and business perspective, a metallography display of P/M microstructures, and the trade exhibition winners in the International P/M Part-of-the-Year Design Competition were recognized.
