THE NONLINEAR RENORMALIZATION FOR THE SPECTRUM OF ELECTROMAGNETIC-WAVES IN METALS - AN ANOMALOUS DOPPLERON

摘要
The renormalization for the spectrum of the finite - amplitude electromagnetic waves propagating in metals is studied. The variation of dissipativeless conduction due to the nonlinear character of the particle motion in the wave field is found. The qualitative analysis is performed as well as the equations of motion for electrons of an arbitrary spectrum epsilon(p) in the uniform magnetic field B0 and field of the circularly polarized wave are solved. The effect are considered for the spectrum renormalization of an electron doppleron in cadmium, exhibiting a decrease in the period of the surface impedance oscillations and their bias with increasing the wave amplitude. It is shown that the nonlinear effects are sensitive to the electron spectrum behavior in its region where the conduction at the threshold, i.e., the extreme partial derivative S/partial derivative p(z) value sections or extremity point, is formed. The comparison of the considered effects with the experimental results 3 is performed.
