LOWER BOUNDS FOR MANY-PARTICLE SYSTEMS - THE BOSONIC ATOM AND THE SELF-YUKAWIAN BOSON SPHERE

摘要
A lower bound for the binding energy of the bosonic atom is presented. For large values of Z, the basic input is the ground-state energy of the negative hydrogen ion and a difference of 7.6% with respect to a variational estimation is obtained. A lower bound analysis is also done for the self-Yukawian boson sphere, subtracting the center of mass motion. The short-range nature of the forces does not significantly modify the known result for the self-gravitating system. © 1990.
