摘要
Using a pre/posttest design we evaluated the effectiveness of a conflict resolution group on African American girls' attitudes toward violence, perceived likelihood of engaging in violence, and self-esteem. Results indicated that members of the treatment group significantly increased their understanding of how to effectively handle conflict yet no effect was found in their proclivity toward violence or in reported levels of self-esteem.
