摘要
Neutron diffraction measurements on single crystals of synthetic alpha -Fe//2SiO//4, alpha -Co//2SiO//4 and alpha -Mn//2SiO//4 in the antiferromagnetic state revealed different magnetic moments on the two crystallographic sites and determined the precise canting angles on the M1-position. The results for Fe//2SiO//4 were confirmed by Moessbauer-spectroscopy to a great extent.
