摘要
A new pulsed power supply has been developed. The current model allows voltage pulses with amplitudes of about 100 kV. The pulse width is a few microseconds and repetition rates are up to some tens of kilohertz. The pulse energy is in the 1 J range. Pulses can be created independent of the preceding one in terms of their polarity and magnitude. The costs of production of this compact supply, which can be short-circuited, are lower than those of conventional supplies, which are even more difficult to tune. Fields of application include gas lasers and devices used in plasma technology.
