摘要
The present article has as aim, from a bibliographical review, to raise the need of fitting the process of learning mathematics in Colombia, in the related to the formation of spatial skills from geometry in students of fourth and fifth grade of basic primary. It is of a great importance to check the literature that treats on the above mentioned process, making a review on the theoretical precedents on this topic. Identifying in addition, its current condition, establishing the weaknesses or insufficiencies that they present when the formative process is implemented in the class without generating the waited learning in the students. The previous theme implies a theoretical insufficiency, which provokes that the teacher does not know how the concept of skills articulates with the implementation of the process of learning of mathematics in which the student could identify the actions and operations that contribute to the formation of the needed spatial skills, determining a sured and valid transit from the planning to form a skill, up to the assimilation by the students, of the indispensable knowledge to demonstrate the above mentioned skill.
