Reality in the Narrative Contemporary Fiction: Contributions included in this issue wish to investigate the significant presence ("inscription ") of Reality in the contemporary fiction originating from various national cultures such as France, Brazil and Russia. Contributors explore the poetics of Reality in the narrative, and give a close look at how Reality is used and/or constructed as a key element of fiction as well as a key element of discourse. Fake, make-believe, deconstruction, doubt: representation of Reality can be suspicious and ideologically tricky. Close reading of Reality, of its representations and discourses, means addressing issues such as adhesion, belief, aesthetic experience and values in terms of ethics, phenomenology, rhetorics, poetics, literary theory and history and discourse analysis.
