摘要：
This paper defines the elements of the WED cogeneration system and explains the structure of the cogeneration networks. The production processes and interlinkages are described by input-output functions and operational and steam demand-supply equilibrium constraints. As a result, the system is represented by a mathematical model which can be used for formulating and solving short term operational planning problems. The symbols used in Part 1 and Part 2 and the references are attached to Part 2.
