摘要：

A field trial using 769 calves was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of a Pasteurella haemolytica toxoid. Calves were divided into three groups - control, vaccinated at spring branding and at the feedlot 138 to 145 days later, and vaccinated twice at the feedlot. The vaccine significantly reduced morbidity, mortality, and relapse rates in both vaccinated groups compared to the control group, which received only a modified live virus (MLV) respiratory disease vaccine.
