摘要
Nowadays, reversed phase liquid chromatography is the most employed chromatographic technique. In comparison with gas chromatography, it offers a greater power of separation because in addition there are solute-mobile phase interactions. As we can use phases of different natures (stationary as well as mobile phases), there are a lot of systems which can modi the solute-mobile phase, solute-stationary phase, as well as mobile-stationary phases interactions and lead to a chromatographic analysis. In this article, we reviewed the characteristics and properties of these two kinds of phases. In the first part the main stationary phases used in RPLC are listed with their synthesis and their characterizations. The second part deals with the solvents of the mobile phase. The different classifications which can be used to choose these solvents will be discussed.
