摘要
Steady plane flows of an inviscid incompressible fluid with infinite electrical conductivity in the presence of transverse magnetic field are studied. The flow equations are simplified by introducing the total pressure P=p+μH 2/2 and a partial differential equation for the total pressure P relative to the stream line co-ordinates (for a flow whose geometry is known and such that its stream lines are not straight lines) has been deduced and solved. Lastly, vortex flow and plane radial flow are also discussed. © 1979 Società Italiana di Fisica.
