摘要
Four of the top ten all-time achievements in chemical engineering were in polymer science and technology. Since this industry continues to recognize the importance of education and research, it may be anticipated that most of the future achievements will be associated with this industry. That the future progress in polymer science and technology is dependent on polymer education has been recognized by the nation's leading universities. More than a score of these institutions are now offering more than 20 semester hours of course work in polymer science. © 1968, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
