摘要
The paper presents the results of studying victimological aspects of the Internet fraud against different age-group of victims in the Russian Federation and the US. The analysis of empirical material allowed the author to construct a victimological risk graph for two countries which depends on the age of the Internet users. It is evident that a younger category of people is more exposed to victimological risk in Russia because they are more active users of modern technologies. The USA is ahead of other countries in the development of the Internet and this is reflected as a << time shift >> on the graph which covers an older age group. At the same time, there is a certain similarity in the risk levels for two age groups between 20 and 40 years old because these are the most professionally active and well-off strata of the population.
