摘要：

This article presents an analysis of the scientific performance obtained by the Chemistry Group members of Department of Science from Valahia University using traditional scientometric indicators, including h-index and a new method for calculating the scientific productivity. The article also includes the results of a study which explores the timedependence of h-index.
