摘要
Effects of intermolecular vibronic dephasings on time-resolved sum-frequency generation (SFG) from molecules at an interface are theoretically studied by using the perturbative density matrix method with the aid of the Liouville-space Feynman diagram. Intermolecular coherence created at the interface is lost due to intermolecular vibronic dephasings. A nonexponential time dependence of the SFG time profile is predicted as a result of intermolecular distance dependence of the dephasing.
