EFFICIENCY OF SOME IMMUNOMODULATING AGENTS IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC CHOLESTATIC LIVER-DISEASES

A study of 102 patients with chronic cholestatic liver diseases revealed that levamysol, T+activin and thymalin possess an immunostimulating effect increasing the level of lymphocytes, T-lymphocytes, activate the functional activity of lymphocytes in patients with chronic cholestatic hepatitis and primary biliary cirrhosis. T=activin, thymalin produce a more pronounced normalization of the immune response by increasing the contents of T-lymphocytes and their subpopulations, elevating the functional activity of mononuclears, reducing the concentration of immunnoglobulins, cyclic immune complexes. These changes-favour controlling the immunoinflammatory process in the liver, normalization of clinical manifestation of the disease.
