摘要
This article presents some of the results of a comparative study intended to determine the effect of Learning Objects (LO) on the academic performance, related to grading, in mathematics courses of high school students. The statistical samples are formed by students from two educational institutions located in the municipality of Medellin and the municipality of Duitama, Colombia. The first sample group used LO during course sessions the second one did not use them. The results of the exams were analyzed quantitatively and showed that the technologies themselves, and the use of them by the teachers, do not result in a significant improvement on the learning of mathematics, that could be verified in the academic performance of the students if there is no permanent counsel, and if not is adopted a process of change in their teaching practices.
