A SIMPLE PASSIVE METHOD OF COLLECTING WATER-VAPOR FOR ENVIRONMENTAL TRITIUM MONITORING

摘要
To investigate the average behaviour of tritium in an atmospheric environment, it is necessary to collect water vapour in air over a long period at numerous locations. For the purpose of the study, the passive method was developed; this is handy, low-priced and could collect water vapour in air without motive power. This paper describes the characteristics of the passive collecting method, the performance of water collection in outdoor air and the measurements of tritium concentrations in water samples collected by the passive method.
