摘要：
This is a review of the geometrical structure and fundamental properties of various fullerene formations including the most common C-60. Their electronic and vibrational modes are studied by means of a unified very simple continuum model derived from graphite that can be applied to all different shapes. The results are discussed and compared with other approaches and with numerical computations.
