摘要:
Paleomagnetic samples have been collected from two sections at two locations: Tongchuan and Hancheng in Shaanxi Province. The samples were taken from sandstone and red mudstone from Upper Carboniferous to Upper Triassic. Stepwise thermal demagnetizations have been carried out on about 650 samples (53 sites). 482 samples among them have yielded successful results. High temperature characteristic components were successfully isolated form all the sites. Based on the results the paleopole positions and paleolatitudes are obtained and the movement of North China Block in these Periods are discussed.
