The use of ICTs through mobile phones, establishes a new and innovating internal communication channel that makes easier not only the flow of communication but also, the participation and implication in the corporate culture of the company and in the commitment of the employees. New tendencies on communication involves the use of new social media to generate and dymanize contents through, the new apps favoring transversal communication in the organization. Through this investigation, it will be analyzed the case study of the Company El Corte Ingles, the european leader in warehouses and a reference in the spanish distribution that has obtained different awards for the use of new technologies in the managment, implementing a new channel of internal communication. The study will be developed by a methodological triangulation. On one hand, in-depth interviews will be carried to the corporate app responsibles of the company and on the other hand, an analysis of the app contents will be carried out paying attention to the evolution from the day of its implementation until today. By this way it will be possible to conclude that the use of digital and network tools applied to the managment of communication in organizations is essential for its correct functioning.
