HOPPING CONDUCTION IN SPUTTERED NI-CO-MN-O SPINEL FILMS

摘要
Ni-Co-Mn-O spinel films have been prepared by rf magnetron sputtering. By using a sandwich geometry electrical resistivity measurements have been extended to 100 K. As-deposited and annealed films show significant differences in their electrical behavior. While the annealed films follow small polaron conduction, the as-deposited films show a close fit to variable range hopping indicative of disorder.
