摘要
A numerical code has been developed to model UV-preionized, discharge excited XeCl laser equipped with unstable resonators. The code includes a steady-state Boltzmann equation for the electron kinetics, rate equations for the plasma species and for the discharge circuit, and a one-dimensional laser propagation-amplification equation depending on the applied unstable cavity. The accordance between numerical and experimental data referring to a XeCl laser fitted with a super-Gaussian unstable resonator is satisfactory.
