摘要
EPR has been used to determine the state of oxidation of vanadium in slow coking, tar hydrolysis and thermodeasphalting cokes and in the products of heat treatment carried out in the presence of atmospheric oxygen. It has been established that the degree of extraction of vanadium is associated with the amount of vanadium in state of oxidation V(V), the concentration of which in the initial products is low, but can be increased by oxidizing coke specimens with sodium hypochlorite. The greatest amount of V(V) is formed as a result of the treatment of solid petroleum residues with atmospheric oxygen under mild conditions.
