摘要
Automation technology in the process industry has changed from proprietary technology to IT components. This technology offers new chances, but also involves risks for the cost intensive and long-living basic automation layer. To this subject, the NAMUR AK 2. 11 "Industrial IT/Process Control Technology" has developed the NAMUR Recommendation NE 121 "Quality Assurance of Control Systems". The NE 121 considers essentially four aspects: Quality assurance of suppliers, to ensure the required features and properties of the products, Defined life cycle management, to include life cycle costs in investment evaluations Technical evaluation, to compare and assess products and offers of suppliers, Requirements on the skills of the users of the systems, to ensure the required specification and evaluation know-how of the users Development of suitable standards requires co-operation and dialog between all parties involved. To this end, further development is required on the part of both users and suppliers.
