PROBLEM AREAS OF THE INTERNET AND BASIC APPROACHES TO ITS STUDYIG

The paper shows that the Internet today - it has developed communications and cultural reality, in which Russia takes their rightful place, and, which in 2012 ranked the first in Europe in the number of Internet-users in the world ranking in sixth place. But the development of the Internet poses new questions to researchers linked in kind, firstly, with the technological expansion of access to information, and secondly, the digital divide. The author's opinion, the modern approach to researching of Internet should be based on two axial arrays: technological and conceptual. The conceptual approach includes the following parameters: linguistic, psychological, ethical, social. The key point of the conceptual approach is the audience that in the new technological platform significantly transforming, turning from passive consumer of information in the active user.
