摘要
Logistics plays an essential role within all segments of industrial business and is the key for success. Logistics services provide a lot of benefits. Permanent reduction on stock, just in time-solutions, short reaction on market needs and value added services are only some of a large scale of aspects. The globalization, the ongoing integration of supply chains and the permanent need for more efficiency forces the logistics business to optimize permanently their processes. To handle this complexity, consultants, system designers and operators need an efficient tool. Simulation is an ideal tool to support everyone, to design systems, to understand the way of working together.
