摘要
Due to the limitations of existing construction technologies of driving bored piles, the sediment will be easily produced at the bottom of the pile foundation, which contributes to the decrement of the load-bearing capability of piles. Through utilizing the impact of the concrete on the bottomed sediments with different moisture contents, the influence of the sediment on the load-bearing capacity of corresponding pile was greatly reduced. In this study, with analyzing the static load experiments of test piles under the impact of concrete in a project located in the red bed mudstone area, the impact of sediment on the load-bearing characteristics of piles was investigated, and also an extensive series of numerical simulations were carried out on the basis of the deformation of sediment after impacting concrete. The changes of load-bearing and the lateral friction resistance of pile foundation were numerically simulated under the scenarios associated with respectively dry and wet bottomed sediment. Results from the finite element simulations imply that the impact effect of concrete significantly improved not only the load-bearing capacity but also the lateral friction resistance of the pile foundation when the bottomed sediment is wet. Hence the displacement of pile top was efficiently decreased, which provides a reference for the similar constructions.
