ACSL is an excellent tool for stimulating creativity and research-related characteristics. Evidence for such a claim includes the results of assignments in an ACSL learning environment which allow for choice of the individuals in order to complete the assignment. Illustrations of varied choices are given and described. The roles played by the interactive run-time mode of ACSL, on SUN SPARCstations and PC's, and by the use of in-class projection of ACSL running on the PC screen are described. Various illustrations of a research and creative nature are shown.
