Methylenecyclopropyllithium reacts with 13C‐ or 14C‐oxirane to give labeled 2‐(methylenecyclopropyl)ethanol, which may be converted in three steps to the corresponding coenzyme A thioesters of (methylenecyclopropyl)acetic acid. Copyright © 1990 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
