摘要：

Integration of ''islands of automation'' in an enterprise calls for a structured approach. The importance of each technology for the business strategies of enterprise as a whole must be taken into consideration. This article initially sets out a proposal summary for a methodology for the Manufacturing Integration Plan. Next a metabase of the enterprise data is presented, which contains the information required for the attainment of the MIP. Finally one of the submodels of this metadatabase is focused in more details: the Operational Model.
