摘要
In his first novel, Wimbledon Stadium (Lo stadio di Wimbledon, 1983), Daniele Del Giudice tries to understand the connections between the "knowledge of living" and the "knowledge of writing": he therefore shows the way to a new literary ethic. Del Giudice's novel is focused on creation itself; and this paper is an attempt to read it through the Aristotelian theory of Power as it appears in the work of Giorgio Agamben. We will above all try to understand Roberto Bazlen's function in Del Giudice's novel: Bazlen is certainly one of the oddest and most mysterious figures of 20th century Italian literature. The writer who doesn't write leads us to question what is writing: in Wimbledon stadium, Del Giudice refuses the closure of meaning and proposes a literature of probability.
