摘要:
Diagnostics of schemes of overlapping between clouds of different layers and types in general circulation models in comparison with data from satellite and ground-based observations is carried out. Peculiarities of the cloudiness overlapping coefficients in different latitudinal belts over land and over ocean for different seasons are noted. Estimates for the uncertainty range of the total cloud amount variations in general circulation models are carried out using different schemes of the cloudiness overlapping.
