摘要：

A varactor model, using an exponential series representation of the charge-voltage relations is found suitable to describe frequency multipliers and converters using diodes with different doping profile. Simple approximate expressions in the small signal case are obtained for design purposes; the large signal operation is treated by numerical computaton. A sensitivity analysis, in the multiplier case, shows that the approximate small signal formulas are a good starting point for the circuit design.
