摘要
The problems of resistive diffusion and of rotation about the magnetic axis in toroidal systems are considered. They are shown to be related to the question of stability of drift-acoustic waves on which viscosity has an important influence. A nonrotating state is always unstable, but if the appropriate criterion is satisfied, there are stable rotating states for which an enhanced diffusion is calculated. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
