摘要：
In this Note, we announce the existence of degenerations of Schubert varieties in a minuscule GIP, as well as of the class of Kempf varieties in the flag variety SL(n)/B, to toric varieties. As a consequence, we obtain that determinantal varieties degenerate to toric varieties.
