摘要
This paper describes a method to simulate an electromagnetic and structurally coupled phenomenon. The motion of a thin metal plate in a time varying magnetic field was experimented and analyzed. The model was solved as an eddy current problem by 2D and 3D FEM and the force distribution on the plate was calculated. Using the results, the structural analysis was performed by adopting a standard package. The analytical and test values were compared and the method used for calculating force Were discussed. © 1990, IEEE. All rights reserved.
