ELECTRON CAPTURE RESPONSE FOLLOWING GAS LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY OF VARIOUS HALOGENATED DERIVATIVES OF 17BETA-OESTRADIOL AND OESTRONE

摘要
Various halogenated derivatives of oestradiol and oestrone have been prepared and their response to electron capture following gas liquid chromatography and their stability to thin layer chromatography determined. Some of the iodomethyldimethylsilyl ethers have been found to be more sensitive than their corresponding heptafluorobutyric esters. It has been found that electron capture response increases according to I>Cl>F. Points regarding the relationship of structure of derivative to electron capturing capability are discussed. © 1968 Holden-Day, Inc.
