摘要
Introduction of the infrastructure of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching biology promotes learning this science using a collaborative methodology and the constructivist pedagogical model. The aim of this documentary research with a bibliographical design was to establish the relationship between ICT infrastructure as a mediator and learning biology. The theories presented by Marques (2007), Pimienta (2008), Martinez (2008), Garcia (2008) and Area (2009), among others, serve as support. The instrument was a record sheet and content analysis was used. Conclusions: i) ICT Infrastructure relates to learning biology; ii) the incorporation of ICTs in education causes the establishment of new pedagogical models; iii) ICT infrastructure trains students to work with hypertext navigation; and iv) Webcams, virtual museums, virtual biological collections and virtual microscopy are outstanding factors in ITC infrastructure.
