摘要
OBJECTIVES. The aim of this study is to describe the case of a female patient who underwent surgical extraction of three mandibular deep impacted supernumerary teeth, in order to proceed with On orthodontic treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS. After flap elevation, bone removal and tooth sectioning with the use of a fissure bur, it was possible to remove the three mandibular supernumerary teeth (33, 35, 45). The patient was treated under conscious sedation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS. A good healing of the mucosa at 7 days after surgery and of the hard tissues at long term (5 months) radiographic recall were assessed.
