摘要
The possible underestimation of the complexity of environmental sciences as a consequence of underestimating the complexity of nature is analyzed. The use of experimental designs inefficient for identifying the origin of the variability of natural communities is criticized. The lack of a critical and up to-date rational support, and of specific empirical supports may also affect the success of environmental studies.
